Lola is a voice activated communication device named after my grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This product was designed to facilitate direct communication between individuals with dementia and their loved ones.
Lola is connected to an app that can be controlled by whoever is trying to communicate to those diagnosed. By offering a simple and secure way to stay connected, whether it be through voice calls, video access, or the sharing of prerecorded messages, Lola aims to provide a sense of safety and reassurance—something often elusive for those living with this neurological condition.

LOLA comes in a set of three to be strategically placed around the house.

Call by pressing the button at the top, or say the default word LOLA for the voice activated system.

Purple is used as the main color of the UX design in honor of the Alzheimer's movement,
A combination of "the calm stability of blue and the passionate energy of red."
